VotoSign: A method to capture, manage and sign verbal and telephone orders
Verbal orders in hospitals are necessary because they allow physicians to treat patients any time of the day or night. The new CMS guidelines require that all verbal orders must be signed within 48 hours. All verbal orders must be tracked to allow staff to manage orders that are over the 48 hours limit and report on all of the orders in the system.
